Well, I am defintely going to be travelling for a while - I can’t seem to get myself in one location for one and only one location - I should be back in Houston in just a few days, and won’t be back in Jordan probably until the first week of January
The good thing is - Pride and Prejiduce plays like every day, and I can not get enough of Mr. Darcy -
I am going to get some movies on request of Fatima
- but besides that, I am sick of American FOOD!!!! I don’t know what to do, if I have to eat another Wendy’s Chicken Sandwich, I am going to yell!
I am a very very picky eater, and you don’t even know how hard it is for me to eat NON Desified food, my friend cooked me some maqlooba - it’s ok, its better then the alternative, but I need something that is spicy man - I don’t know how to eat this stuff
But besides all of that, ironically enough when I was a child, we (my parents and me, I am am only child) used to listen to: 1. Mariah Carey, 2. The guy who sang the song: In the Middle of the Night, Billy Joel, and 3. Michael Jackson - and I think I still pretty much like all of their music -
I guess what you grow up with never really changes - I still have a crush on Mariah Carey BUT not because of how she became later on, but because she is just HOT, as a child I just liked her song Dreamlover where she jumps around the garden, etc. I still love In the Middle of The Night, and I still hate the idea of Michael Jackson being prosecuted - I was in choir when I was younger my teacher recognized my amazing voice and made me be in Choir, and I Sang his song:Â Heal the World -
But more then that, this is what I grew up with! I rememember when the emmmys came on (or was it the grammys) and we all just enjoyed “Dreamlover” - I was just a kid back then, but its still a great song-
Point Being, I do not recall forgetting any of these thoughs any time soon - so yes I know Music is Forbidden, but kindly realize I already know that, and that does not change anything, when and if I GET To paradise, I want the same songs, the same music, the same life I had when I was a child, - thats all - music is what I use to symbolize my growing up and that is what I want -
I had to stop my an electronic store and buy some hardware, and my friend was like wait up - I need to buy something for my wife - he was buying a cd of Shania Twain for his wife (he does not consider music to be impermissable, and i can’t really do much to change his opinion) - but the Same Exact thing happened with me when I was younger, I was buying an OffSpring CD? (I think), and my friend was like, wait I need to come buy a Shania Twain cd for my mother -
I guess the morale of the story is if you think music is ok, and your looking for a gift for your mom or wife, you can probably buy Shania Twain - it seems to be a big hit, I myself like the one song that came out a long time ago: Your still the one.
But besides all of that, I have a nasty headache, I have been in a meeting all day, and I am sick to my stomach - and I don’t know what I can possibly eat, I don’t want to go to Wendys, I am sick of any kind of Arabic food, and as much as I like desi -food, I hate desi food at a resturant (I Like good ole home cooked desi food)
There was a song from the grammys or emmys I really liked (a long time ago), but I was never sure who sang it, I believe it was song of the year a long time ago, and it was by counting crows - anyone know? It goes something like, ‘laid the witch so she lies behind the bedroom door’? I remember spending a few years trying to sort out who actually sang, it - it was terrific song, but I never knew who sang it.
