I want something to eat, but I just can’t think of anything I want to get (I only really have the option of Karai Chicken, Chaval and Tandoori Naan OR not eating at all) - but it’s weird, to eat nothing sometimes feels like your eating and its a pleasant feeling - like WAIT! I just realized I have Cocoa Pebbles and Coca puffs - but no, I do not want that either - Either way, its nice being hungry but not REALLY starvingly hungry and be able to fall asleep while being to tired to eat, but enjoying eating air, its a weird feeling -

Someone asked me if I was a negroe today (he was black) I woinder if anyone else thinks I am black to - any comments Mr. Wood?

Did he really use the word “negro”? That is really old school…like 1960s and 1970s. Nobody says that anymore.

I’ve seen people fom the Subcontinent that look Black. Ethnic categories aren’t so easily distnguishable many times.

Yah me too I’ve seen many people from Kuwayt, Yemen, Saudi looking like black people. Hard distinguish these days.

but the thing is I am pakistani -

I have never confused myself for a negroe before..

But to be fair, he asked me if my hair was bleached (as opposed to naturally blonde) so he may not be to perceptive -

Just so you’ll know in the future, you shouldn’t use the word “negro” when referring to Black people. Black people prefer to be called Black or African American. Trust me. I definitely would know. :-) Negro was used at a time when Black people didn’t have too many rights so it kind of has a negative connotation. There are certainly worse words, but it is far from the best option. Just a little brotherly advice. I hope you follow it.

Of course, I already upset some of my friends by always referring to them as niggers a long time ago (and don’t do it anymore)

But this was a black man who asked me if I was a Negroe, I am just narrating on him sorta - really

I could see it, with your beard and low cut hair, I can understand how you may blend in.
