For 20 Qirsh - I can get Meat Pies, I can get Zaatar Pies, I can get Spinach Pies (my favorite) and I can get Cheese Pies and Cheese/Egg Pies, for 50 Qirsh - I can get a shawarma sandwich

Dude, those are sooo easy to make !
Fatima, I have to show you the recipe on how to make the zaater fataayer. YOu can make them into pizza pockets really easily too…
Also you can fill them with betinjaan* eggplant” and beef….
I like to put potatoe and carrots with fresh coriander…
The dough is a no brainer, it just needs a little elbow grease like my mom used to say.
By the way, the place where y’all are…masha’allah it’s a niiiice area ….
Have you all seen other parts of the city?
You’ll see huge contrasts…..
