I never seem to have anything more to say, but i LOVE talking so let me try.
1. Saeed texts me and reminds me to pray at the mosque if I ever miss it like 10 times a day.
2. Adee comes over to check on us daily
3. Muhamd Diri is always calling and checking up and trying to help me find a job (since I met him, and without ever asking if I needed one)
4. Reporters are e-mailing me like crazy about Daniel
5. I will be back in the states in the middle of march
6. I Have discovered (I think its spelled) Qaak - its short for cake, but it really means LARGE Falafal Sandwich - and its 45 cents in many places, but 35 cents in this one place which is only open for 2-3 hours after 5 o clock -
7. I have discovered Qar Fur - MAN, I just bought 20 bags of groceries (enough for 2 months for a family of 5, exclusing veggies and meat) for 68JD, and tons of that stuff is enough to last the year or year(s)
8. Jordanian Women still don’t really look that good yet
9. My friend screwed me over money (from the states, JORDANIAN! HA)
10. I ate a booger
11. I am helping an Arab Iraqi man come up with really weird sounding sentences find an American wife by messaging woman on the internet saying: ‘I am 18, can i talk to you on mic’ - he does this Full Time
12. We have a tutor who spends 8 hours a day with the kids! (for Arabic)
13. I was very sick, now Fatima is very sick, I was so perfect, I made (maggie) soup countless times
14. I will HAVE to get DSL at home for at least a few months, its to hard to manage work emergencies without steady NET
15. I plan on FINALLY meeting Mr. Keller in shaa Allaah - now that the kids etc. are taken care of - I just have to sort out some deadlines for work, but since I dont have net at home, its proving to be annoying
16. I LOVE Jordan
17. I will finally begin becoming rich soon and Islamic Network FINALLY
18. All of my friends who are single and want to make hijrah are welcome to come over whenever they want - you can find jobs here, its not impossible, and you can stay withme as long as you want (so that makes it wajib on a ton of you guys out there)
19. Families are welcome as well, but I just don’t believe you’ll ever come so HA.
20. Being a sufi is hard considering, I can’t seem to FIND any Sufis besides the kharabsha clan
21. I found BOTTLED drinks (that means they ARE CHEAPER, u just have to return the glasses)
22. Jordanians are in shock at how much money IÂ can save (I am more froogle then most of the ones I meet), and my wife is aghast at how froogle i CAN NOT BE (shes more froogle then me)
23. The kids school is AWESOME mac daddy, will post pictures soon
Uh, I don’t know what else to say!
Oh yea, anyone who has ever come to my blog and never posted a comment, I HATE YOU!
