IN Digestion

First of all, I am very proud of myself - there are a few things I was putting off (collectively with Fatima) and by myself. My goal for my step children (read: kids), note I do not always feel comfortable referring to them as my own kids, mostly for the most part because of the fact that they have a very good relationship with both of their parents (i.e. mom AND dad) so its not a situation in which I am the only father figure, rather, I am ‘Uncle Sas’ but they live with us a long time of the year or maybe in a few years, they will be with us for the summer only - but - basically from my side, the only two things I really want to impart or be a part of imparting is doing my utmost in ensuring that they learn Arabic, and memorize a large portion if not the whole qur’an - now, me and Fatima both prefer that they do both of those things full time and not have to worry about schooling, etc. but since there are fathers, grand parents, etc. taking them out of school and putting them for 2-3 years in just Arabic and Qur’an is not an option - BUT, its happening.. (ahh instead of doing a full write up of what happened), I will simply say things are happeing….

The kids are doing good awesome in arabic, and now they are starting quran to, and have been doing awesome for a month or so - they just ater fried eggs for morning, I had some toast, and I relaxed in a Lady Picture Show  after a job well done
