Finally Ok, first of all, this feels good.
Dec 18

This will be my second of two eids spent in Jordan. I still have not figured out what to do to exactly get into the big places, and all of the people I know are just so very busy, or so not aware of whats going on (read: Backward people) that I can’t really get much oui of it. This is one of the pitfalls or not having enough friends or family around you to guide you in these ‘adult’ decisions. Yes, I am still owed an Eid.

So, besides that - I did what I can, with my limited imagination and my limited budget. First thing, I did the adult responsible thing of at least being awake one way or the other. Yesterday, I managed to spent over 20 or so hours sleeping in the last 36 hours, and managed to drag Fatima down with me - so we were at least ‘awake’ one way or the other - (we woke up around 12AM the night before) - we saw a movie to pass the time (Legends of the Fall), and made pancakes which were a real treat - as its been over YEARS since I had pancakes of any sort.  Ooh ooh, Also purchased ONE KLILOGRAM of sweets, and got 10 DVDS. (I am way to lazy to find a creative or even fun way to do anything on eed which requires time, and we do not know ANYONE to visit), yes if you guys my friends in jordan who DO READ my blog are reading this are reading this, a BIG FUCK YOU! for not doing anything to make my eid special. (this does not apply to Ammar of course, you are busy, etc.) but yes, everyone else I know in jordan who is reading my blog FUCK YOU! Eid mubarak mother fuckers!!!

Basically, I am not so sure what to do on Eid in this country, and to tired to learn how to do anything quite yet (maybe next year, I will have some kind of motivation) - but really don’t mind my sentiments - I am actually quite proud of myself, this is actually the second or third eid I have any hand in managing, and so far it seems kinda fun. I can hear everyone bustling around getting their clothes on, we will walk to the local masjid, we have some fun movies to watch - and we had PANCAKES!

And, I WILL FINALLY FINALLY get to see Scarface (never seen it before)
